Petituguês
Petituguês is an initiative that promotes learning and contact with the Portuguese language and culture for children in Barcelona, through playful, educational group activities. Designed for Portuguese-speaking children, it offers a space for learning, play, and sharing in Portuguese, with age-based groups and sessions every other Saturday morning.
Petituguês is a project dedicated to teaching European Portuguese to Portuguese-speaking children living in Barcelona, through fun and educational activities tailored to different age groups. Sessions take place on Saturday mornings, in small age-based groups, and are led by experienced Portuguese teachers, ensuring a relaxed, warm and fully immersive European Portuguese environment.
Beyond language learning, Petituguês also creates a space for cultural exchange, where children connect with their roots and parents meet other families in similar situations. Each edition includes games, stories, songs, and even time spent together in the park — always with the goal of celebrating Portuguese as a joyful and living heritage.
